THE FALL OF THE TEMPLES

The fall of the temples
The threat to sacredness
Can you hear it knocking at the temple door
Banging, clanging, shouting and hissing
The fear of the sacredness within
Chasticing. Burning. Punish. Destroy.
Ideological judgement & ignorance, homogenisation & fake power
“tear it to the ground” they cry
Forgive them for they know not what they do
To destroy destiny
To pull down the sacred alter itself
To chase away and torment the grace and purity of soul
And yet the temple stands
Erect, open and proud
Rising for all to see
A call to those to join
To enter her sacred gates
To explore the still, dark depths within
To be washed over by the divine grace of this love
She has fallen and risen again and again
Withstanding the test of time
For she is life itself and can not be destroyed
Burn the structure
Destroy the form
Yet the temple remains
Rising in her new form
Vibrating the sacredness she is
Calling you to prayer
The priests are rising
The incense burning
Prayer so soft and so loud the soul tremors
Juicy, luscious, shameless and alive
Serving her. Loving her.
Being the offering of today
So come and enjoy
Spread your wings and leave your baggage at the door
Nothing is needed here and all is welcome
And the gatekeepers are returning
Remembering and hearing the call
Sanctify and simplify
Bless them as they enter
Show them the way
Protect the sacredness of her wide open welcome
For some their time is not today
They are not seekers or pilgrims
The are not yet ready to be awakened and see the truth
Their illusion is too cosy
Their attachment too great
So sending them away with love
The temple will be open another day
